DASH for LaGrange, Inc. has an opening in our ‘Community Development’ program. This position builds relationships & partnerships; coordinates neighborhood revitalization activities; develops, organizes & manages special events; works directly in communities with residents; networks with city leaders, government officials, businesses, stakeholders & community program leaders; leads special community programs; oversees fiscal activities; develops/mentors local leaders & volunteers; links residents to service organizations & resources; mobilizes residents around local issues; and represents DASH in the Hillside neighborhood and the greater community.

Candidates should possess skills in: Community building; financial management; communication (verbal & written); project management; leading volunteers; public speaking; PC & MS Office.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university plus five years of related experience in community building or related work.
