Housing rehabilitation is a core component in DASH’s mission to eliminate substandard housing, improve the local housing stock and increase affordability by reducing energy costs for homeowners.
DASH for LaGrange, in partnership with local governments, offers the Housing Rehabilitation Program for area residents. The program provides assistance to low-income homeowners for code-related and handicap accessibility improvements to make their homes safe and healthy.
Assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. All applicants must own and occupy the property to be improved and meet income eligibility requirements. Additional eligibility requirements are required and vary depending on the programs available.
The Housing Rehabilitation Program is now accepting names for the waiting list in
Pine Mountain, Hogansville, West Point, LaGrange, and Unincorporated Troup County.
To pre-qualify and reserve your place on the waiting list,
